No, we are not doctors or nurses. Many of our MedBuddies have backgrounds in pharmacy or allied health, but they will never give medical advice.
Strictly no. Giving medical advice is against our core ethics. While many of our MedBuddies have backgrounds in pharmacy or allied health, they will never suggest treatments or medicines. Their role is to help you understand what the doctor says and ensure you follow instructions correctly.
We partner with leading hospitals in Bhubaneswar including Care Hospital, KIIMS, Apollo Hospital, Utkal Hospital, and Manipal Hospital. Our MedBuddies are familiar with the layout, processes, and key contacts at all major hospitals in the city.
We provide comprehensive hospital assistance including: appointment booking and scheduling, queue management for registration/consultation/tests/pharmacy, diagnostic test coordination, paperwork handling (admission/discharge/insurance), bill verification, doctor communication support, medication organization, and post-visit follow-up coordination.
We do NOT provide medical advice, nursing care, physical patient handling (lifting/transferring), or transportation in our own vehicles. We also don't make medical decisions on behalf of patients. For specialized medical or nursing care, we can help coordinate with certified home healthcare providers.
Yes! While our core service is hospital assistance, we can coordinate home healthcare services including nursing care, physiotherapy, medical equipment rental, and sample collection. These are provided through our certified partner networks and can be arranged during your booking.
Absolutely. Elderly patients are among those who benefit most from our services. Our MedBuddies provide extra patience, clear communication, mobility assistance, and ensure all instructions are understood. We also offer dedicated MedBuddy service (Pilot Pro) which is ideal for elderly patients needing comprehensive support.
Our one-time packages start at ₹699 for the Pilot package (up to 4 hours, 30+ tests). Pilot+ is ₹1299 (4-8 hours, 55+ tests), and Pilot Pro is ₹1999 (dedicated MedBuddy, 8 hours, pick-up & drop). We also offer annual plans: Premium at ₹5999/year and Premium Pro at ₹8999/year.
No, our pricing is completely transparent. The only additional charges are for optional third-party services marked with an asterisk (*), such as pick-up & drop transportation. These are clearly mentioned during booking and you pay only if you choose to avail them.
MyMedBuddy services are currently not covered by health insurance. However, we provide detailed invoices that you can submit for reimbursement if your policy covers outpatient assistance. We also coordinate with hospital insurance desks for treatment-related claims and help with all insurance paperwork.
Yes, you can upgrade from Pilot to Pilot+ or Pilot Pro during your visit if you need extended assistance. Just inform your MedBuddy or contact our support team, and we'll process the upgrade with prorated pricing.

Yes, you can book on behalf of family members, friends, or even employees (for corporate tie-ups). Many of our clients are NRIs booking services for their parents in India. You'll be the primary contact, and we'll coordinate with both you and the patient.
Your MedBuddy stays with you until the visit is complete, even if it exceeds the planned duration. For Pilot package, if the visit extends beyond 4 hours, there's no additional charge—we're committed to seeing you through.
