By accessing and using the services of MyMedBuddy ("we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all users of our website, mobile application, and healthcare companion services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Description of Services

MyMedBuddy provides professional healthcare companion services including:

Appointment scheduling and logistics coordination
Queue management at healthcare facilities
Documentation and paperwork assistance
Diagnostics and lab test coordination
Communication support during medical consultations
Post-visit care planning and follow-up reminders
Important: MyMedBuddy companions are NOT medical professionals. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or nursing services.

User Responsibilities

As a user of our services, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when booking services
Arrive at scheduled appointments on time or provide timely notice for cancellations
Treat our MedBuddies with respect and dignity
Follow healthcare facility rules and regulations
Take ultimate responsibility for all medical decisions
Verify all medical information with qualified healthcare providers

Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

Use our services for any illegal purpose
Request medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from MedBuddies
Ask MedBuddies to perform medical procedures or nursing tasks
Harass, abuse, or discriminate against our staff
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Use our services to facilitate fraud or insurance claims
Record or photograph MedBuddies without their consent

Medical Disclaimer

CRITICAL: NOT A MEDICAL SERVICE

MyMedBuddy is NOT a healthcare provider. Our MedBuddies are professional companions, not doctors, nurses, or medical professionals.

We do NOT provide:

Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Nursing care or medical procedures
Medication administration or dosage recommendations
Interpretation of medical test results
Emergency medical services

Always seek the advice of qualified health providers with questions regarding medical conditions. In case of emergency, call 112 or visit the nearest emergency room immediately.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyMedBuddy shall not be liable for:

Any medical outcomes or treatment results
Delays or issues arising from healthcare facility operations
Miscommunication between you and healthcare providers
Loss or damage to personal property
Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyMedBuddy, its owners, employees, MedBuddies, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your reliance on information provided by MedBuddies
  • Your interactions with healthcare providers

Payment and Cancellation

8.1 Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. We accept various payment methods as displayed on our platform.

24+ hours before
Free cancellation
12-24 hours before
50% refund
Within 12 hours or no-show
No refund
MyMedBuddy cancels
Full refund

Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and handle all information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Our MedBuddies are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and are prohibited from sharing any patient information with third parties.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Is harmful to our MedBuddies or other users
  • Is fraudulent or illegal
  • Violates the rights of third parties

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
